FAQs
1. What is your shipping policy?
Please view the shipping policy here.
Currently I only ship domestically within the UK. I plan to open international shipping to select countries by the end of 2025 and continuing into 2026.
There will also be a selection of items available for domestic shipping within Australia starting from early 2026.
2. Do you do commissions?
I'm very selective about commissions, and only take them on if the subject is interesting. Drop me a query here! My commissions start from £150.
3. Are all the artworks yours?
Everything artwork on this site was all handrawn by myself with great love and care. Some have taken me months. On average a realism piece takes between 50-80 hours to complete (I'm working on trying to get faster!). Other art styles typically take 20-30 hours.
4. What do you use to make your art?
I make artworks in Clip Studio Paint on a Microsoft Surface Pro. I used to work on a desktop computer with a Wacom Intuos tablet, however when I moved to London from Sydney I couldn't carry them with me and had to leave them behind. At the moment, flatsharing in a tiny room in central London doesn't allow me the space to have a full setup (*cries in Londoner*) but if my circumstances change I would love to upgrade all my equipment!
5. I purchased one of your window clings, how do I use it?
Refer to this video here!
6. Why are some of your signatures on the some paintings different?
I've been drawing for a very long time! Naturally as I level up my skills I upgrade my signatures too. So if you see a signature stamp that doesn't quite look like my current one (which is the logo on my page) that just means it was drawn at an earlier period of my life.
7. What does your signature mean?
My signature is designed to look like a 'chop' stamp - a type of seal used in east Asian countries like China as a form of official signature. The writing says 'Lou', my family name in Traditional Chinese seal script.
Being an Asian-Australian living in London, I wanted to connect to my Asian heritage, and yes my parents had to check the signature to make sure I spelled my own name correctly! Don't want to be like those people who get terrible misspelled Chinese tattoos like 'boiled broccoli'...
Fun fact: I actually do have an official chop stamp that my parents made for me when I was a child!
8. Who are the animals on your website?
Say hi to my mascots, Lionheart, Chio and Lady Kitsune! I am a huge animal lover and they represent some of the animals that have had special meaning in my life.
